Cub Pack 248

Pack 248 invites all members to attend a gathering at Stokoe Farms on Oct 20th for our October Pack event! Details to Follow

Other Dates and Themes for Pack events are:

• Nov. 15th: Jurassic Pack
• Dec. 8th: Red Kettle Day
• Dec. 13th: Christmas Party (We also plan a pack service project of Bell Ringing for Salvation Army one Saturday of this month)
  
• Jan 24th or 31st: Depends on availability of our Track provider schedule.
  
• Feb 28th: Chinese New Year (Kung Fu exhibition and/or lesson possible)
  
• Webelos II leader plans on Crossing Over at this point !
  
• March 27th: Adventures in Literacy Costume Party
  
• April 24th: Abracadabra (Magician)
  
• May 17th: Blue and Gold Ceremony
  
• Summer Schedule TBD

Greetings Scouts and those who support us, this is a message from the Kernel. Popcorn sales have commenced and I hope your all doing well, remember our goal is $150 per child and 100% participation. If you don't have your popcorn sheets yet DON'T PANIC! call me 585 293-1966 and I will make sure you get them.

I wanted to send some dates to you all to let you know what to expect:

• October 31 - Pack 248 ends its popcorn sale. That's a Wednesday.


• November 1 - All popcorn sheets must be turned in to me, Mr. Conradt, or Mr. Schramm.


• November 2 - Mr. Schramm and I must have all our orders turned into Council.


• November 16 - 2:00 to 8:00PM - Council distributes popcorn to pack Kernels. Mr. Schramm and/or myself will pick up the orders for our pack.


• November 17 - 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon - Council continues distribution to pack Kernels


• November 17 - 8 AM till Noon - Mr. Conradt and possibly Mr. Schramm will pass out the pack popcorn so please be ready to pick up your boxes and turn in any money you have collected.


• December 1st - ALL MONEY must be turned into Mr.Schramm and/or Mr. Conradt.

Cub Pack 248 is hosting a joining night on September 13, 2007 at 6:30 pm at St. Charles Borromeo's Parish Center. To join, please bring your parents so you can get more information about Cub Pack 248.

Thank you Kurt for organizing the camp out for us and cooking some wonderful meals. Sitting around the campfire at night was fun too, for those of you who missed it Kurt played his guitar as we watched shooting stars and told ghost stories. The weather was great and at last count we had no cases of poison ivy so I count that as a big success in itself. If you missed it this year I hope you will be able to attend next year.
