Perfect October Day for Stokoe Farm

Cub Pack 248 spent a perfect October Day at Stokoe Farm in Scottsville on Saturday. Granted, it was a typical October day with intermittent showers and some big wind gusts. But the scouts had a great time with their families playing on the hay mound, go-carts, tractor wheels, corn maze, zip line, giant slide and doing a whole lot more.

It was a cold blustery day but Cub Pack 248 had a great time at the Lighthouse District Monster Mash - and there was no mud! The scouts enjoyed crafts, games, and demonstrations for a fun day.

Pack 248 October Pack Meeting STOKOE FARMS

Hello all scouters and Happy Fall.

This month's pack meeting will be Saturday, October 20th at Stokoe Farms at 10:00- 1:30. We will meet in the parking lot of the Farm at 9:45 as we need to arrive together. We will not be having a "formal meeting" this month. We will be acknowledging any achievements before the activities begin, if that is not possible, we will definitely acknowledge any achievements at the November pack meeting. This is a more informal activity to welcome everyone back and to welcome the new members of our pack and to just have lots of fun!!!!!!

Please note that we need to turn in a headcount with money by Saturday, Oct 6th. Please give your den leader a headcount from your family. As always, the pack will be paying for the scouts, you are responsible for yourself and other family members that you bring. The cost is $5.00 per person ages 2 and up. This includes general admission, a small pumpkin, most activities (hayride, corn maze, zip line, slides). Food, beverages, pumpkin launch, and crafts are extra and you are responsible for that. We have reserved 2 tables in the "barn" for our pack from 10:00-1:30. These tables seat 18 adults, but we ask that the adults make sure that all the children from our pack have seating if needed.

WHO: Scouts and Family members of Pack 248
WHAT: October Pack Meeting "Down on the Farm"
WHEN: Saturday, October 20th. Meet in Parking lot 9:45, "meeting" from 10-1:30
WHERE: Stokoe Farms
RSVP: Please let your den leader know a headcount and pay for family members this Thursday. If you need to make a check out, make it payable to Pack 248.

Please note, it is important that we give an accurate headcount and pay this week to keep our reservation so please be prompt with family count and payment.

Thanks,
Any questions, don't hesitate to call
